Dear brothers and sisters in Bwiri!
It’s indeed a chilly morning and I am glad to pass my regards to all.of.you and hope that you will have a wonderful week ahead.
Nine years ago I relocated from the Central part of Kenya to come and fully stay at home in Busia and Bwiri ward a decision that I have enjoyed to the very last day. This move made me connect to my father’s land and by extension to my people. My family settled and we managed to make lots of friends through various projects that cut across education, Economic and family empowerment and sports for our youths. We did manage to reach out to several students and schools and are still looking forward to undertaking this noble program in the forthcoming years.
We established BWIRI MASHINANI WELFARE PROGRAM an outfit that seeks to bring all of us together in Bwiri as a family and am glad that we have now managed to raise another 2.7Million which we shall use for the third phase grants to support our women.
In our undertakings we recieved invites from different Intrest groups that we should anchor what we do and represent our people in the legislative seat in Busia representing Bwiri an honour and respect I have adored to date. I will never get tired to say *_ASANTESANA_* For the overwhelming support. The journey was and has remained to be a humbling one. It was amazing to see women,Old people, youths and organisations Raleigh themselves to mobilise one another in the belief of the course. A memory that I will for sure never forget. Going forward! Several developments have come across and new opportunities that have given us a new leap in life.
I have accepted to take another job as a Co_leader with a research firm that has Interest with green energy and climate both Nationally and internationally starting OCTOBER 2024. With this new development sadly! I will not be offering myself for any elective positions in the forthcoming elections and do wish that all of my supporters will find it in their hearts to deal with these tough times that require prayers and so soberness as we charter new paths. The following are measures we have put in place.
1. Register BMWP as an official outfit to act as an umbrella for the groups under patronage and provide grants.
2. Re _ energise the bursery program across Bwiri.
3. Re_Model the Bwiri water tank project after we have dealt with the Tax compliance issues.
